On the 29th August, 2015 Coastal Claymakers latest exhibition openedCoastal Claymakers is a group of enthusiastic ceramic artists.
This exhibition will be a showcase for their latest work.

The name of the exhibition is Habitat. This single word has conjured up something different in everyone.

During the thinking, planning, making stages there has been a definite interest in the natural habitat. In some cases that has led to a ceramic comment on the state of our natural habitats.
What are we doing to our planet?

Other artists have made statements on a more private meaning of the word habitat. Referencing their own personal surrounds – their homes, their community or the family environment.

Everyone is invited to come along to the opening on Saturday
29th August at 3pm. It is in the Bellingen Gallery and Framing Studio. 3/44 Hyde Street, Bellingen.

Have a drink and some nibbles. Talk to the artists about their work. We would love to exchange ideas on what habitat means to you.
